BEAT FREAKS ROK GENERIC BY DUFF

It is definitely a full time job keeping up with all of the latest fashion trends. Sometimes you just want to go generic. Well, that’s what The Beat Freaks did with Generic Clothing, a line created by cousins Troy Duff and Erica Duff.

According to their website, Troy studied art and design in Tennessee before moving out to Los Angeles to work in television and film. He never lost his passion for graffiti and fashion and began airbrushing graffiti art on clothing. Erica moved to Los Angeles to pursue a successful career in dance, working with Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Will Smith, Jay-Z, Outkast, Toni Braxton, and Tyrese. Her love for design and fashion pushed her to collaborate with Troy to create Generic Clothing and Duff Clothing lines. According to Generic’s Myspace page:

We don’t follow trends we start them. BE BOLD, BE GENERIC!! Are you tired of trying to keep up with all the expensive trends in fashion? Some days do you just wanna be simple yet stylish? Maybe wearing a shirt that says “SHIRT” or a hat that says “HAT”. Well GENERIC is the brand for you.

According to their youtube video, each piece of clothing is tattered and stamped by hand. You can purchase Generic shirts, tanks, hats, and more on their website. And look out for their Urban Couture graffiti art line, Duff Clothing.
